Music has always been a passion for Luke since he began taking violin lessons at the age of three with Lisa Zeller in Naples, Florida. Upon moving to Omaha in 1998, he studied with Dr. Alexander Ross until the summer of 2005 when he became a student of Anne Nagosky. Luke helped form The DeBrodiez Quartet in 2006, which performed in the Bluebarn Music Festival in the summer of 2007. Later that year he soloed with the Omaha Area Youth Orchestras’ (OAYO) Youth Symphony as a result of winning the 2007 concerto competition. He is currently the associate concertmaster of the Youth Symphony. Luke takes piano lessons with Milvia Rodriguez at the Omaha Conservatory of Music and plays clarinet in the Creighton Prep Band. His most recent accomplishment was his performance with the Omaha Symphony at the Holland Performing Arts Center in February of 2008. During the 2008-2009 school year Luke will be an exchange student in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
